Lowell Blake was founded in 1974 by Jim and Susan Lowell. Although it was not an ideal time in the economy to start an investment advisory firm, the Lowells believed it was important to create a company that produced superior results using ethical standards. At the time this was a novel idea and was met with much skepticism but after 35 years it has proven to work. Through sound investments in stocks and bonds augmented with our innovative special projects, clients have benefited from our unique investment perspective. Today, there are 15 employees and approximately $600 million under management.
